Bayern Brush Aside Stuttgart 4-2 to Secure the Bundesliga Title

An extraordinary week for Bayern Munich continues! Just days after securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) semi-finals by defeating Real Madrid, Die Roten have officially been crowned Bundesliga Champions for 2025/2026. The title was sealed after a resilient 4-2 comeback victory against VfB Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena yesterday.

This Matchday 30 victory ensures the trophy remains in Munich with four games to spare, aided by a slip-up from closest rivals Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

Head coach Vincent Kompany opted for a rotated lineup, resting star striker Harry Kane and handing a starting role to Nicolas Jackson. Stuttgart initially stunned the home crowd in the 20th minute when Chris Fuhrich found the net following a clinical pass from Bilal El Khannouss.

However, that goal served as the spark Bayern needed. Jamal Musiala showcased his signature magic, delivering a pinpoint cross that Raphael Guerreiro converted in the 31st minute to level the score.

Only two minutes later, Nicolas Jackson put Bayern ahead following an assist from Luis Diaz, before Alphonso Davies widened the gap to 3-1 in the 37th minute. In a devastating 10-minute spell, Bayern had completely seized control of the match.

Early in the second half, Harry Kane was introduced from the bench and wasted no time making his mark. He pounced on a rebound from a Leon Goretzka strike to make it 4-1. Although Stuttgart managed to pull one back late in the game, it wasn’t enough to spoil the Bayern celebrations.

Despite the victory, the celebrations were relatively measured. The squad’s focus has already shifted to Wednesday’s DFB Pokal semi-final clash against Bayer Leverkusen, followed by their upcoming UCL semi-final challenge.

With one trophy already in the bag, Kompany’s men are firmly on track in their hunt for a historic continental treble this season.
