Cristiano Ronaldo answered his critics in the most definitive way possible on Tuesday, shattering records and ending a glaring goal drought to guide Portugal to a commanding 5-0 victory over Uzbekistan in Houston. 

At 41 years old, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner proved he is far from finished, cementing his legacy by becoming the first player in football history to score in six different World Cup tournaments.
