Rifdean Masdor Destroys Javad Mozafari in 94 Seconds to Secure Six-Figure ONE Championship Contract! 🥊🇲🇾🔥

Malaysian Muay Thai has officially welcomed its newest global superstar. In a performance defined by sheer ferocity and clinical precision, 23-year-old phenom Rifdean Masdor authored a career-defining moment at Lumpinee Stadium, dismantling Iran’s Javad Mozafari via a spectacular first-round knockout at The Inner Circle 19.

The victory did not just extend the Malaysian’s winning streak; it completely altered the trajectory of his professional career.

With the devastating finish, the Kuching-born striking sensation officially punched his ticket to the global stage, capturing a life-changing US$100,000 (RM425,000) main-roster contract with ONE Championship.

To top off a historic night in the Thai capital, his blistering performance earned him an additional 350,000 Baht (RM44,056) performance bonus from the promotion.

94 Seconds of Pure Destruction

From the moment the opening bell echoed through the iconic Bangkok arena, Rifdean—affectionately known to combat sports fans as the “Magic Boy”—made his intentions crystal clear. There was no feeling-out process, no hesitation, and absolutely no room for error.

The Sor Sommai product marched forward immediately, weaponizing piston-like straight punches that shattered Mozafari’s high guard and dragged the 24-year-old Iranian into an immediate, high-stakes firefight.

Rifdean’s suffocating pressure quickly paid dividends. Utilizing elite footwork and relentless aggression, the Malaysian trapped Mozafari against the ropes before pinning him deep into the corner.

Rifdean targeted the head with a barrage of hooks before seamlessly shifting his target to the body. A venomous, sinking body shot caught Mozafari right in his tracks, instantly crumbling the Iranian to the canvas and forcing the referee to step in for an official eight-count.

Though a resilient Mozafari managed to beat the count and return to his feet, the respite was short-lived. Sensing blood in the water, Rifdean unleashed a final, wild combination.

Punctuated by two devastating left hooks directly to the ribs, the sequence folded Mozafari for good, leaving the referee no choice but to wave off the contest at the 1:34 mark of the very first round.

“I Was Fighting Myself”

Despite the explosive nature of his triumph, a humble Rifdean was visibly emotional during his post-fight interview, struggle to find the words to describe the magnitude of the moment.

“To be honest, I really don’t know what to say. I am completely lost for words,” Rifdean admitted. “But it was a very good fight for me. This fight was never truly about fighting someone else. It was about me fighting myself. I was fighting my own doubts and pushing past my own limits. For my upcoming fights on the global stage, I promise to be even better, stay disciplined, and keep improving.”

A New Threat in the Atomweight Division

Rifdean’s highlight-reel knockout serves as the perfect exclamation point on what has been an incredibly brilliant ONE Friday Fights campaign. The young Malaysian has now emerged victorious in six of his seven promotional appearances, riding an unstoppable five-fight winning streak.

With this latest victory, Rifdean has officially inserted himself as a legitimate, top-tier threat within ONE Championship’s ultra-competitive atomweight Muay Thai division. The triumph elevates his comprehensive professional fighting record to an incredible 47 wins against just 8 losses (47-8).

As the dust settles in Bangkok, one thing is abundantly certain: the “Magic Boy” has arrived on the global standard, and the rest of the world is now on notice.
